Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars


This was an amazing story. Anderson is one of the best authors out there. I loved Speak and this did not disappoint. I found it after one of my students read it for their award winner book report. I am still trying to get more into ya lit, and teaching is really helping with that. Overall, this was both a wonderful story, and a great portrayal of the multiple side of people, especially in war.
