I originally wanted to read this after an episode of Murdoch Mysteries dealing in eugenics and H.G. Wells. At the end he goes off muttering about an island, with a doctor...yes. And so I just had to read it. That and I have been on a H.G. Wells kick as of late. It was a fast read and very interesting as all his are. I quite enjoyed it and the ideas it dealt with. All in all a very good book.
